Created in 1969 as a branch in the Marseille District, it moved to the Nice District in 1979 and became a ward in the Nice Stake in 1980. Boundaries were changed to include members from the Salon Ward in 2006.

Created before 1970 as dependent on the Nimes Branch, then on the Aix-en-Provence Branch. It became an independent branch in the Swiss Geneva Mission in 1977 and joined the Nice Stake in 1982.

An oral history of Charles Mauclair (2013) has been shared with the Church History Library, as well as reports from missionaries and branch records from 1928 and later.

Created as the Corsica Branch in the France Lyon Mission in 1991, from the Nice Ward. Its name was changed to Bastia Branch in 1994. In 2012 it joined the Nice Stake.

Created in 2005 from the Manosque Branch as part of the France Lyon Mission, it joined the Nice Stake in 2012.

Created in 1981 in the Nice Stake, it was divided in 2005 to form the Gap Branch.

Created as Marseille Branch in 1949. Its name was changed to Marseille-Chave Branch when Marseille-Borely Branch was created in 1964, and was named Marseille Branch when Marseille-Borely was reabsorbed in 1965. It was divided in 1970 to create the Marseille-La Rose Branch, which was reabsorbed in 1972.  In 1977 it became Marseille South when Marsille North and Marseille East Branches were created. In 1979 it became Marseille-Borley when Marseille East closed. In 1979 it joined the Nice District and in 1980 it became Marseille-Borley Ward in the Nice Stake. In 2007 it was named the Marseille Ward when boundaries were changed to include the Marseille Saint Just Ward.

Created as Nice Branch about 1948. Between 1978 and 1984 it was known as Nice-Cimiez. It became a ward in the Nice Stake in 1980. Boundaries were changed with the Cannes Ward in 2008 to include members from the Antibes Ward.
