Created as a branch before 1974, it moved between the Tours and Nantes Districts between 1978 and 2003, when it became a ward in the Angers Stake. In 2013 the stake was renamed the Rennes Stake. Ward boundaries were adjusted in 2015 with the Cholet Ward.

Oral histories of Francoise Cadeau (2002), Jean-Yves Raveneau (2014), Loïc and Odile Buron (2015), Serge and Françoise Deforge (2016), Danielle Garant (2016) and Jean Sune (2016) have been shared with the Church History Library, as well as reports from missionaries and branch and ward records from 1959 and later.

Dependent on the Caen Branch until 1973 when it became a branch in the Caen District. In 2013 its boundaries were changed to include members from the Coutances Branch and it joined the Rennes Stake.

Oral histories of Michel and Colette Mercier (2002) and Laurence Vansteenkiste-Boulie (2017) have been shared with the Church History Library, as well as reports from missionaries and branch records from 1972 and later.

Created as a branch in the Nantes District in 1987, it joined the Tours District in 2003. In 2013 it became a ward in the Rennes Stake.  In 2015 boundaries were adjusted with the La Rochelle and Nantes Doulon Wards.

Created as a branch in the Nantes District in 1930, it was closed from 1933 to 1950 and from 1951 to 1954. In 1989 it joined the Limoges District, then in 2000 it became part of the Tours District. Boundaries were adjusted in 2002 to include members from Niort Branch. It became a ward in 2004. In 2015 boundaries were adjusted with Cholet and Nantes Doulon Wards.

Created as the Nantes First Branch before 1977, it was named the Nantes Branch in 1979 and the Nantes Nord Loire Branch in 1992. In 1993 it was named the Nantes Doulon Branch. In 2000 boundaries were changed to include members from the Nantes Reze and La Roche Sur Yon Branches, and it joined the Tours District. In 2004 it became the Nantes Doulon Ward in the Rennes Stake. In 2015 boundaries were adjusted with Cholet and La Rochelle Wards. In 2019 it included members from the Saint Nazaire Branch and its name was changed to the Nantes Ward.

Created as a branch in the Lorient District in 2005, from parts of the Brest and Lorient Branches. It moved to the Rennes Stake in 2013, and included members from the Brest Branch in 2018.

Created as a branch in the Nantes District in 1964, it moved to the Lorient District in 1991. It became a ward in the Angers Stake in 2003.
